Neurodiversity at Work: Enhancing Diversity Initiatives through Inclusive Practices
How can you support and cultivate neurodivergent people in your workforce?
Our distinguished guest speaker, Carolyn K. Jeppsen from BroadFutures, will lead an informative conversation to build awareness about neurodiversity, and how her organization is helping to develop employment opportunities for neurodivergent young people ages 18-26. She will explain BroadFutures initiatives to partner with employers and how BroadFutures provides contemporaneous support for its interns at work to help ensure their success.
A passionate advocate for empowering young people with disabilities, Carolyn is the Co-Founder, CEO, and President of BroadFutures. She is an accomplished litigator and author who serves on various Nonprofit and Advisory Boards. Carolyn holds a B.A. with honors from Colby College, a J.D. from George Washington University National Law Center, and a Certificate of Non-Profit Executive Management from Georgetown University. She is the proud parent of three young adult daughters, two of whom identify as having disabilities.
